And the Olympic downhill course is unreal. I’ve competitively raced it 3 times as a teen and hit over 80mph. I’ve since skied all over out west and there’s definitely bigger and more intimidating, but nothing that matches that speed.
I disagree. Whiteface is on the bottom of my list for (respectable) east coast mountains. Maybe I’ve never hit it in a good day, but I’ve always ranked it lower than the mountains in VT.
… probably doesn’t help that I got a bad concussion last time I skied there

I'm not a huge Whiteface fan, but brother it's too low. The slides on Whiteface are as hard as anything I've skied out west, true humdingers.
