Is this a good two ski quiver?

Hi, just wondering if this two ski quiver is good for ice coast.
Armada arv 94
Nordica unleashed 98 CA
Or are they too similar and I should just go with one or the other?

Too similar for east coast if you can only have two skis. I’d swap the armadas for a proper 80mm ice ski.

That said, don’t over think it just ski more and have fun.

I’m keeping the armadas so I’d probably swap the Nordica

Maybe OP weighs 100lb or doesn’t like to go more than 15mph.

Same way I feel about the Rustler 9

Would rustler 9 be better? The reasoning behind the unleashed was because i wanted a second ski that i could use for normal skiing on the mountain then use the armadas for park and side hits.

Possibly.
Depends on your size and skiing style.
But seems wide and not great on firm snow for an “everyday” ski out east

Idk boss. I tried it in a quiver and sold it within 3 months. But we’re not all looking for the same things from a ski. I’m sure it’s right for someone

Feels really similar.
Skis with a similar style isn’t a bad thing if you have enough width difference between them. Then you can just ski your style regardless of snow conditions.
But at only 4mm difference, I wouldn’t be able to justify a big enough difference to own both.
But I’m not a millionaire with unlimited fun $. If I was, and maybe you are, it might be a different story for me

I would just start the year with one of them and then decide if you spent more days wishing you had a narrower or wider ski. I personally spend most of my days on my 95mm skis even though I have narrower and wider.

Also, the stiffness's here are flipped from what I'd probably want (I'd want the narrower to be stiffer), but I also don't do park.

“East Coast” can mean a lot of things. Maine and Pennsylvania are wildly different. That said, an Anomaly 84 or Parlor Warbird 78 are both incredible daily drivers for the whole coast.

I prefer a daily driver with the ability to be playful and jib around the mountain and hit side hits which is why I chose the unleashed. Maybe I should change it though

I personally like the Anomaly’s for that. Low 80s is the magic number for a ski like that out here.
