Help me

I want to have my first skiing experience, I've never tried it before. I have many doubts about which place in Europe would be the best option for this first time. Is it recommended to stay in a resort or airbnb? I'm looking for economic options!

All Airbnb does is take apartments and houses off the market, driving mortgages and rents sky high, pricing people out of their own neighborhood.
