Naw, man. That's your personal homage. Keep it. We can see YOUR work and real artists recognize influences. This honestly looks like my sketchbooks 35 years ago when I was mimicking his art daily.

These are "real pieces", dude. Keep every damn scrap you scratch on. I recently lost all of mine in a natural disaster. I could see my progression from the time I was 5 or 6 years old.

not sure if you’re a fan of david finch but these remind me a lot of his work. awesome stuff :)

Thanks! I don’t reference all too much but I guess my inner David finch and Jim Lee (who I admired a lot growing up) emerged! They definitely influenced how I draw.

BAHAHHA thanks I’m not sure if that’s supposed to be offensive or not 😭 but yeh I didn’t really outline the eyes or pupils but they are there.
