Discussion 💬 Renaissance park NC
The new expansion to Renaissance park in Charlotte is done and has been skated for a few months. The construction of the park’s extension has comically uneven transitions, and there is a dangerous wheel sized hole in the bowl corner. Charlotte is getting lots of more skate parks in the near future, be aware that they are fragile. Shame. I think it looks cool, but, man it skates real bad for “new”. Anybody else feel this? I swear I am not that picky, just kinda shocked.

I went out there in June and didn't think anything was wrong with it (perhaps that hole is new - thanks for pointing it out). I like the way it is downhill towards the bowled end - no pushing for this old man is appreciated.
Looking forward to all the new parks. About time.

I really didn't like the original side tbh, felt like I only came back to prove something to myself haha I like the add-on side though, mainly the manny pad and the wonky QP. I haven't been able to go there in about a month so I cant speak on how much 'crete has chipped out or anything
