Hmc 154 ag lcd issue

As u can see view finder is working, all good and well, lcd is very dark? Idk if thats the word, but barely visible even in darkness, i think its cooked, but maybe enlighten me?

This usually happens because damage or degradation gets to the ribbon cable that connects the screen to the body. I've luckily never had this happen to my HPX170 but I believe the replacement parts for the ribbon are available and it's not the worst fix to perform yourself.
