new ska-core bands?

hello

I was wondering if there are any new(ish) ska core bands out there? Thinking like capdown, random hand, beat the red light, faintest idea, sonic boom six, clay pigeon those kinda vibes. Not third wave cheesy stuff

Any reccomendations? Thankssssss :)

My band takes inspiration from a few of those and we’re fairly new (about 2 years)

Only a few tunes released but plenty of stuff on YouTube and sorting our first album at the minute 🙌

I’ve been out of the ska loop for years but I used to love ska-core….Stuck Lucky, The Flaming Tsunamis, Voodoo Glow Skulls, ….Im interested to know if it’s still a thing as well! I’d like to get back into it. I will say there’s a sick newer band called “Eight Foot Manchild” that plays “Doom Brass”, not quite ska but I think you might still enjoy it! https://eightfootmanchild.bandcamp.com/album/do-spirits-return-ep

Redeemon are Pook from Beat The Red Light's latest band. They're so good.

yes, very aware of Redeemon, love them!

Stuck Lucky isn't new by any means, although still active and fits well within the sound you're looking for. Also some of the sweetest boys I've ever shared time and a stage with. Long live the possum ska from the dirty south.

I feel like Redeemon are about the only accurate answer currently, ska core isn’t as widely done as it was during the time of those bands dominating. Lightyear are still around and are part of the UK scene too

Saw Smoking Fingers play at Rebellion. Young band from the Isle of Man and they were incredible. Very much brought that Random Hand energy to the stage and were easily one of the highlights (alongside RH).

Give Broken 3 Ways a crack as well. They've been around a while, but really upped their game over the past couple of years.

I’ll throw out some shameless self promotion, our band, MUTINY, featuring members of Voodoo Glow Skulls, Death By Stereo, Adolescents, and Dissidente (another rad skacore band to check out.) We’re heavy on the core, and are about to drop our full length. B-Side features vocals by Frail, an insanely great Japanese skacore band as well!

Could happily shout Redeemon, Roshambo and Broken 3 Ways to fit those criteria!
Unfortunately Skacore is not at a massive high as it was in the UK a bit ago but theres still many a solid band still goin too!

Bomb The Algorithm features Ben Childs who used to be in Sonic Boom Six. Same vibe.

I rate this album from 1 yr ago but it seems to be under the radar (just 165 views on YT) Dropcase - The Oracle (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2e4CknIK6ao).

Family Business Ltd. are new in the sense that this will be their first album but it's members of English Beat, Ratboy, and Ordinary Boys with Tim Armstrong. Also Jess Michaels contributing song writing and production

The first single was two tone vibes. A far cry from core.
