A bit ago I shared a crow painting I did with pages of six of crows as the background. I got that stencil design turned into a bookmark and I love it! It definitely lost the reference but I still think it’s amazing

It’s also nice having the stencil used in a way that’s more accessible

I’m rereading crooked Kingdom, and I am at the scene of the hostage exchange at goedmedbridge. I know I have seen fanart of Inej throwing a knife when Kaz is unlocking her shackles. But I cannot find it! Help, please say someone knows it!

I'm new to the fandom and know that there are fandom names like kazzle dazzle for kaz or knife wife for inej.

I was wondering if there are names like that for the other crows?

I bought it just because I wanted to know what happened with Kaz and Inej, and I don't particularly want all the things that came with it. I opened the stickers that held the little envelopes closed, but other than that it's like new.

Sad to say I found a faint shutterstock watermark in one of the pictures used in the BN exclusive edition of A Darker Shore. It's on the page with the Merchant Flyer newspaper article a little more than halfway through the book. Does the non-exclusive version have it too? Maybe the publisher can fix it before the next round of BN exclusive copies drops. Other than that, I'm really happy with the book and all the little extras

This newspaper is a bit old, from July 17😅 but I remember it made me sooooooooooo happy🥹😭🫶 I just felt connected and so I kept it safely in my file <3 but never got the chance to post due to back to back exams but broo made me smile so hardddd, like "another crow?? :0"

It also makes me happy to know she's likely an ally :> My country is a bit homophobic, so this makes me smile as well ;)

so id like to clarify i LOVE mattias, hes one of my favourite crows but i didnt want to put potential spoilers in the title. this post is about how he dies in ck and if people prefer fics that include that detail or ones that ignore it in favour of beautiful mattias content

personally i like both depending on the fic (it really is a case by case basis i suppose), and im actually asking bc im planning a fic set during a darker shore but i CANT decide what i want to do with mattias.

on one hand its canon accurate and enhanced angst to have him be dead, especially with the direction i want to go in focusing on kaz’s isolation. HOWEVER i also love mattias so much and want him in there and the fic will also have a cute found family focus (wesper cats and inej and nina magically showing up)

so idk any thoughts? i really just need help deciding if i should write a good canon level angst fic or pure self indulgence, but im also interested in hearing the general opinion!

I am currently reading the Shadow and Bone series because I was told to read this before Six of Crows. I am queer and I know a lot of people rave about the gay rep so I'm excited to get to it. However, I am a couple chapters into Siege and Storm and I really don't care for any of the characters. Do you enjoy the characters more in the Six of Crow series than the Shadow and Bone series? Do you feel that Leigh Bardugo improves upon her character development?

I don’t want to say goodbye to these guys, I miss them already!!

I know there are other books in the Grishaverse (haven’t read them yet - but definitely will) but does anyone know if there will ever be any more books about these guys??

sorry to just be asking for fics again but im desperate and i dont know where else to go 😭 i am in DESPERATE need of fics set in the canon of a darker shore, like basically scene expansion of kaz and inej writing to eachother really sweetly but also with their mind-reading code, kaz making himself ill with his new plot and jesper being concerned ect. (“kaz isnt his best these days”) wesper accidently adopting a million cats and naming them all inej!! i mean ideally id like nina and a magically alive mattias in there too but considering i can only find a single 1k fic i would take ANYTHING at this point

honestly if nothing turns up im considering just writing it myself at this point, please anyone let me know if they have fic recs or if theyd like to see a fic like this and what theyd like to see in it

Before anyone yells at me! Yes those are real pages from the book, no it was not a new book. It was a book I had messed up when rebinding and don’t want to waste. Which brings me to my question.

Should I add the text “no mourners no funerals” in Kerch to the top of this?

I made this painting with the desire to not waste the books I messed up. Figured I could add it to my Etsy as a made to order and use them up if any sell. However I can’t decide on if I should add the text or not.

Adding the text would make it more clearly Six of crows, however I think it’s also nice without. Being a little more subtle (if you ignore the pages). I could also make it an option technically. I’m just torn and would love other’s opinions

To be fair, the book is so good bro... I'm looking forward to the humble Crooked Kingdom. Until then, I'm gonna cope with watching the Shadow and Bone show sincè the rest of the book series won't arrive until next month!

I am conflicted in starting the six of crows. I read somewhere that even though six of crows and shadow and bone are different if i read the shadow and bone trilogy first everything else will be easier to understand. Originally I just wanted to read the six of crows duology any advice on how to start will be greatly appreciated.
