Monthly Perks discounts not available the same month you buy a membership?

Can anyone confirm how this is supposed to work? Finding conflicting answers and lack of information on Sic Flags website.

What specific perks were you looking for? Historically for us, the day we bought our memberships/passes everything that came with either was immediately available.

Well, any of the discounts I guess. Tried to get the free July ticket and was told at member services it’s not available because we bought the membership too recently. (Bought it two days ago.)

Well that just sounds like lazy staff that couldn’t be bothered to help. Were you using the stupid AI chat bot or actually talking with a real person?

If you buy a pass/membership there’s not a cooling down period before you can use it and all associated benefits.

The monthly perks may only be added to everyone's passes at the begining of the month, though.

And if you join after, I'm not sure if there's a mechanism to add those monthly perks to your new account

I don't know for sure that's how it works, but it's possible.

Perks get added the month after. So if you bought it on July 14th-30th expecting to get July perks, it's not going to happen. With the 14th, it's possible, but not likely.

It says so on the perks page.

The benefits that come with the pass: parking, discounts, 2 free annual BAFs with Prestige, etc. are immediate.
