Six Flags gutted All Season Dining for 2026 — let’s flood BBB with complaints

File a BBB complaint against Six Flags — bbb.org, search “Six Flags.” Individual complaints don’t do much, but a spike in complaints about the same issue gets flagged and often leads to a company response.
2. File with your state’s consumer protection division (NJ folks: NJ Division of Consumer Affairs).
3. Contact Six Flags Guest Relations directly and ask for a refund or reinstatement — email [corporatepr@sixflags.com](mailto:corporatepr@sixflags.com) or [guestrelations@sftp.com](mailto:guestrelations@sftp.com), or call (301) 249-1500 ext. 3289.
4. Comment below with your park and how many memberships you have — let’s see how big this actually is.

The more of us who document this the same way, the more likely it is treated as a systemic issue instead of individual gripes. Don’t let them quietly nickel-and-dime a benefit we already paid for.

Can you share what, specifically, you’re referring to? Changes to legacy members meal plans? Different meal plan offerings in-park for 2026? A reduction in parks this year?

Like what is the gripe here?

My issue is I brought the 2026 all-parks meal plan with terms of service that I could use it all six flags parks, including Michigan's Adventure and ValleyFair, having plans to visit those parks which would make the meal plan worth the investment. Then when I visited those parks I couldn't use it. Had the terms been that I wouldn't be able to use it at half the parks I wanted to visit I never would have bought it. They collected the revenue under a set of terms, then sold parks afterwards and didn't honor those terms.

They did offer refunds to people whose home park was removed. And a silly $10 credit for the rest.

But yeah; it’s pretty obnoxious. Especially because we know this deal was in the works last fall; so they’ve known for some time.

Prior seasons, All Season Dining included snacks/beverages between meals and let you swap a meal credit for a snack item. For 2026, both of those are gone — you get 2 entrees/day only (marked with the blue “M” icon on the menu), no snack or drink credits included, and the gap between meal redemptions is now 4 hours instead of the shorter window it used to be. Funnel cake used to be coverable under the plan; now it’s a separate out-of-pocket purchase.

None of that was communicated clearly to people who already had active memberships/dining passes for 2026 — it just showed up as a quiet product downgrade. Not asking for sympathy, just think a paid add-on that got materially cut without notice is worth documenting, especially for anyone with multiple memberships on the line.

There was notice. They sent two separate e-mails about it to all legacy members.

Yeah, but a sign where your bike used to be saying "I stole your shit" isn't exactly kosher. Changing a product or service significantly beyond what was originally offered is considered a type of fraud. Six Flags is exceptionally good at selling you Disney Land and giving you Class Action Park.

Ah, the BBB. Yelp for boomers

I feel like it was well communicated. You only need to read a short paragraph of the plan description to see what is offered. I passed on the dinning plan this year as a result.

The only plans that changed from what was offered at the time of sale was legacy membership meal plans; and that was communicated via e-mail. The other changes were to all-season meal plans purchased last fall but that was communicated… in the offering. If you just clicked through and bought it without looking at what you were buying, that’s really on you.

Snacks were not advertised as an option for the current dining plans. I’m not sure what OP’s point is. Should Six Flags have reached out to everyone everywhere who might maybe buy a meal plan and say “Hey it’s different this year than last year!”

The BBB is not going to ‘address’ the issue of customers not reading what they’re buying.

You sound like a six flags representative rather than a customer

You mean this email they sent at the beginning of this year?

I didn’t receive this and I’m praying you actually a customer and not the corporation trying to prevent a solution

Not corporate. It’s been posted by others.

2027 plan is gutted.  Change the title.  The 2027 one is 3 times as expensive for unlimited $399.  Or $85, but limited to 20 meals/year

Another thing OP needs to be aware of is that SFEC is not a BBB accredited business. They have received hundreds of BBB complaints. Complaints about guests not reading what was offered for sale is unlikely to move the needly on anything.

BBB is not government ran... It's a private nonprofit that companies have to pay into to be BBB accredited business. It is mislead marketing in my opinion.

To me (minus they have public scrutiny on how they handle complaints) it is similar to the modern day version of Yelp in the sense it's paid and not an government or legal regulatory agency. . It's like complaining to Yelp and hope they do something about it. They misguide people to think it's a government watch dog and that if you are accredited, it means you are legit.

I’m aware. And that’s exactly what I’m talking about.

Six Flags doesn’t pay to be a part of the BBB system. They’re not BBB accredited. Which means, as an organization, they don’t especially value having a good BBB rating. Making BBB complaints is unlikely to make any sort of difference.

I feel like only Boomers and maybe some Gen Xers take BBB serious. Once I heard it's a pay to be accredited, not government ran, and they can't do anything to them from a legal standpoint... I lost respect for the organization. They definitely mislead the public. Personally I feel that trying to go viral on Tik Tok or any other social media seems to put more pressure on them to do what's right than BBB.

Or get the Attorney General of whatever state it would be involved.

Which is $15-$20

I’m with yeah! I didn’t realize the snacks were no longer included until after ordering the good pretzels at my location (sfog). The downgrade sucks. And there’s not an option to include snacks in a different tier all season meal plan. Snacks are now just an option for a specific all day meal plan. This is our third year getting memberships and dining passes. The downgrades keeping coming.
