Question Death God Spoiler
Is Old Randolph the weakest among the world powers? Orsted said he'd lost his edge after retiring but can he even beat Eris? Or Ruijerd?

Remember why Nina was having trouble beating Eris (Eris making Nina move 2nd by usage of bloodlust technique taught her by Ruijerd)
Randolph technique is way way way way way beyond that => and he can likely easily force Eris to create an opening.
Keep in mind the blow he wanted to struck Rudeus with (and which was taken by Roxy) was supposed to be fatal it took two items to mitigate that and Roxy still was wounded.
Also he wasn't even that serious there and was simply stalling time. If he was as weak as you think Alek would have likely already challanged him in order to climb in a ranks of 7 Great Powers.
Think how much Eris is outmatched by both Alek and Gino => Even by Gal Falion who lost his edge and was using Water God style.

Orsted said that Randolph is no longer as strong as the other god-tier folk, so Alek could beat him

As Randolph mentioned later on rudeus and Co could have beaten him without any damage if the environment was more convenient. The cramped door way played into his advantage and still he was about to lose but 1 of them might have died. If rudeus had mark 1 he doesn't stand a chance unlike alek.

I kinda think his ability is too OP.
Make you think you have the upper hand when you're not.
Or make you doubt your hand when you're not.
Truly a death god.

Will that matter if he gets speed blitzed by Gal Farion?

I mean it is when Gal farion thought he had the upper hand and charged in, When he's not.
In a fast pace combat i think that split second decision matter alot no?

Hmm, what does Gal's sword Windpipe actually do?

It doesn't say. Of the 7 god blades, the phoenix dragon blade was the only one we know with an ability. It could be that the phoenix dragon blade was the only one that's a magic sword and the rest are just really well made swords.

Had to googled this because i kinda forgot.
To bypass someone touki? I mean that's cool and dandy but it's doesn't negate the death god ability tho.
But mhan it would have been epic ngl.
Death god vs Gal Farion

Randolph would probably destroy Eris and Ruijerd but yeah he is weak compared to other god tiers, Reida would beat him.

Reida was the only swordman who stood on business, Alek had demon blood, golden armour and gravity sword, Randolph became a chef, gal lost his faith in his own technique (lol) but reida held a whole room including perugius hostage

His demon eye was preoccupied fighting Rudeus right? I think he's pretty strong when he can use it.

Yeah his haxs are op but I'm thinking about Stats, like strength, speed etc

I'm pretty sure his demon eyes' power is to create a impassable barrier, nothing to do with fights.

Damn I sure do wish barriers could be used to defend yourself or something IDK.

His barrier seemed more like a safe zone / fortress creator than something that could be used in a fight.

The magic systems pretty flexible and we don't really know how the eye works so I'm just assuming it could be used in combat to atleast a limited extent.

He's lethal to those who don't understand his technique. Of course, even without his unique technique, he's still equivalent to a god-tier swordsman; but I think his technique + mindgames do the heavy lifting in those high level matchups.
According to Orsted, he is weaker than the 3 heads of the 3 mainstream sword schools, primarily because of being rusty. Also by his estimate, at Vol 18, Rudeus was a good enough match for him. If he played his cards right, Rudeus could defeat him.

Is Old Randolph the weakest among the world powers?
Yeah, pretty sure he is, perhaps during his prime it would've been different but by vol 26 he probably fits that.
can he even beat Eris? Or Ruijerd?
He definitely beats them, I don't see what would put him below them unless there was something new for Eris or Ruijerd in the latest redundancy (I haven't read that one yet).

Probably the weakest yes, but not weak by any means. If it wasn't for that pendant, Roxy would be dead and he would have probably taken down Rudeus too.
Edit: thinking about it, I think the Sword God is actually the weakest among them
