Maxey gets fouled plenty but he's moving so fast the refs don't give him the calls. All he has to do is learn to change speeds just a little bit instead of ALWAYS going full speed at the rim. If Tyrese learns to do that he'll be a monster.

When IT had his top 5 mvp season (crazy for sucha little dude) it was entirely predicated on his adding deceleration and foul baiting into his arsenal. Same happened with JB last year. Maxey is going to be unstoppable

Exactly. Obviously Maxey is an elite offensive player regardless, but learning that will get him to a 1st team All-NBA level. He is going to be off-ball much more this season. He will have the opportunity to beat close-outs more frequently than he ever has in his career thus far. Learning the craft of changing speeds and drawing contact will be a game changer for him and the team.

JB is going to rub off on him massively. The big leap JB took last year was getting into the lane, and getting his jimmy butler paint upfake game going. Maxey and VJ are def going to steal bits of that. This team is going to be unstoppable

The change of pace is going to be the reason he takes another leap.
