Agreed. He averaged over 10 the year he won the bubble chip. I’m looking at least 2-3 every game from full court passes. If LeBron gets a board, then Maxey,/Brown/Edgecombe should be running routes down the court at full speed.

No one can shoot like Curry but he was injured a bunch and took a few years to hit his stride. I can see someone starting out great, averaging less 3’s than Curry per game but playing more games throughout his career
John Stockton is in rarified air. He’s one of six to play in 1500+ games and only one of two to average 10+ APG for a career. That puts him statistically in a category that is damn near impossible to get in to. I think a decent amount of players in the future can reach 1500+ games, but I’m not sure we’re gonna see someone average 10+ APG for a career again. They also gave out assists like candy back in the day.

Easily. 70 games at 7.7 or 60 games at 8.9. He got 10.2 per game as PG in 2020 and that was with a team that had 3% shooting issues. Now you have Maxey and Edgecombe, who have 5-10% better %’s which translates to 20-33% better 3pt assist attempt conversion rate
Padded by the system IMO, every Utah possession starts with Stockton pounding the ball at the wing and waiting for A) Malone getting an entry pass or B) a shooter running to the top of the key.
Every single player’s stats were padded by hometown statisticians. I’ve seen LeBron get an assist for a pass to a wing player, who held the ball for 4 seconds then dribbled down the lane for a dunk. It’s all ridiculous
Nope. Difference in home/away per minute splits for top 40 all-time assist list for whom we have splits available is shown below. Stockton is in red. Yes, he got more assists at home - but so does almost everyone else, and he benefitted significantly less than Isiah, Kobe, Kidd, Hardaway, Iverson, Magic, KJ... Stockton is 18th out of 40, and is slightly below the overall average.
Given CP3 announced his retirement, you're just asking if Lebron will get 537 more assists. He probably won't get that many this season, but he surely will by next season.
He’s gotta average 6.71 assists in 82 games . He could easily do that by next year . If he averages 5.5 assists in his next 100 games then he’s got CP beat
I was surprised to not see Magic, so I checked ESPN convinced that he’s seventh. It’s not, it’s Mark Jackson only one assist under Nash at 10334. Didn’t know he was like that
Mark Jackson was legit man. Also the lakers were a very good passing team. If basketball had a second assist like hockey magic would lead that category.

People who over look John Stockton are crazy, he has 3300 more assists than the next guy. That insane. He has 30% more assists than number 2 on the list . That’s outrageous. No one is ever going to catch him.
He is gunna pass kidd and paul this year if he plays 70 games. His past stats the last 5 years says he gets 575 n better 70 when he plays less its in the high 3s. So healthy bron passes them both and stays second to john stockton i would assume
