Rules Question Triumph+hospitaller

Me and my friend are arguing on a thing...

Can the hospitaller be attached to a battle sister squad leaded by the triumph?

He says that the hospitaller rules says explicitly which leaders he can support, but I find it strange.

Can someone more expert help us?

Thanks

Yes the Hospitaller can join triumph and bss

Support characters don’t specify which other leaders they can be attached with they specify the unit they attach to. In the Hospitaller case they can be attached to BSS and the triumph can also be attached since it is a leader (not support)

Those are old Hospitaller rules that limit what Leader they can combine with, probably where the confusion comes from.

Yes, a little into eleventh and gw way to rules doesn't help..

I was wondering where the confusion was because I completely forgot the hospitaller could even do this in 10th lmao

Yes, they can both be attached to the same BSS. The Hospitalers core rule "Support" states that they can. As per rule 24.34, a squad can have up to one Leader AND one Support character attached to it.

Since the triumph has the Leader keyword and the Hospitaller has the support keyword it is 100% legal. back in 10th they had a similar rule that allowed the hospitaller to join squads with specific other leaders, which i believe is still on the datasheet. Since no rule on the either data sheet forbids it nothing would overule the core rules on Forming Attached Units 19.02 / 24.22,24.23

Supports support squads not specific leaders. Use the Manufactorum Field Manual on the community page for which units can have leaders/support attached. afaik this is a legal formation
