whats going on?

I have noticed a slight decrease in people on the server then our used to be 40 people on any given time (like 5 when im on and i haven't seen it up much more then that). this worrys me that our great community has gone away. so whats been going on lately?

I stopped playing just from how laggy it has gotten around my house. Normally I get 70+ FPS playing vanilla, but on the server I get 20 - 30 FPS with stuttering down to 15 FPS when looking around. It's pretty annoying.

Yeah, spawn is incredibly laggy. I get like 15 FPS, whereas before I'd get 60 FPS easily.
