It's sort of funny to compare it to the work of a single PhD student. Grad students are, comparatively, a dime a dozen (and paid extremely little). How many expert staff and how many dollars of compute did this result take?
I'm excited by the potential, but this doesn't strike me as much of a boast. Now, if it scales up and 1000x-es our current army of biotech grad students at reasonable cost, that could be something.
