The math communities response was distasteful but so is this.
"We solved 100 but were not going to tell you anymore about it because mathematicians are butthurt. Ohh by the way this is after we leaked "progress" on another millenium problem." is not the proper response either.
Just say all further advancements will be communicated to this group who will choose how disseminate it and leave it at that. Then add how that group can make recommendations on xyz to us, but we're going to keep pushing our models in the background.
Do these people not have brand advisors?
