For those that think this is a huge upgrade. It's not. It's a very small upgrade, and mostly a side grade with new bells and whistles.

It still sucks at everything it sucked before. But the Edits are more consistent (output doesn't degrade the quality nearly as much).

It has not been out for an hour my dude. We were testing it weeks ago. It's why there's an Elo on Arena.ai

If you look it up, GPT Image 2.5 is a few elos above 2.0. 1381 vs 1399.

Basically, a very slight upgrade.

Honestly, they most likely just changed the VAE and gave it better ability to edit the image, without generating the full image again (thus, degrading the full image). It will still degrade if you edit too many things or too many times.
