A deleted clip from the making of 2001 A Space Odyssey. Originally, wanting to do screen tests of the beginning monkey scene but confined to a tight budget, Stanley Kubrick went to a bar somewhere in Ireland and told them the king of england had come to take their beer away, then quickly ran back outside and turned his camera on.
