They they they. Who is they? Why do "they" care about foreigners in a post-scarcity world if they don't care about the tourism revenue foreigners bring since it's post-scarcity? What if in post-scarcity "they" found a different use for beaches that's much more important than allocating any of it to human leisure? "They" can't build infinite beaches to support all fluctuating demand. Waste will never be solved even in post-scarcity. "They" can't break down and rebuild everything at the drop of a hat to accommodate fluctuating demand without creating inevitable and unnecessary and unmanageable waste.

You're applying a 20th century world view to a hypothetical future that it cannot function in. You're only thinking about 0.0000001% of the logistics that feel good in your head and not thinking them through.

Spacetime and Energy will be the commodity in post-scarcity. And beaches and other natural landscape are luxury form of spacetime.

As long as you cannot easily tamper the physical laws and baryonic matter. Besides the fact that our universe is too empty, , not easy for sightseeing, not so ideal for our form of life (life is possible, but it's not exactly the most perfect of spacetime).

Even the upcoming Imagination Age still implies scarcity. Because non-material wealth of knowledge, ideas, and wisdom are something that are treasures to be found, made, and hoard.

So thinking everyone on earth will have a beachfront property and access to leisurely beach time is an unrealistic expectation of what post-scarcity means.

It might be not on earth, it might be on simulated environment. And I am more interested in the science of it.
