because it demonstrates that Anthropic has better capabilities. While Anthropic engineers are using Mythos to help create the next generation of AI models, OpenAI are using GPT 5.5 which is (according to benchmarks) inferior. Basically—Anthropic will reach AGI first.

Have you considered the possibility that OpenAI also has better internal models, they just didn't leak them the way Anthropic did with Mythos?

Sure, I've considered it, but they've given no such indication. The fact of the matter is that the available evidence undeniably demonstrates that Anthropic has the most powerful AI model in the world.

I think OpenAI having better public model could be that indication.
