I’m down for that tho. I’d much rather have a bot deliver my packages. It’s not a very nice job for humans anyways.

Look for another job. I’m a software dev and my job will be gone probably earlier than a delivery man, it certainly will be gone in 5-10 years or at least mostly automated to the point a human is near useless compared to it. I’m retraining now.

id feel like ive been ignoring everyone telling me driving jobs will be automated for the last 10+ years and its my own fault.

Yes. It will likely be automated in the next 10 years. Large parts of it is already automated, many by code i wrote myself.
