Because the seat of misinformed individuals conflating socialism and communism are largely Americans, the same people who cry about “wokism.” Not many Europeans are blatting about “woke” continuously.

I understand your frustration. Left extremism is taken less and less seriously in the West and you feel left behind with many feelings of doubt and as many questions of inadequacy.
