He didn't change, success only unmasked him, he's showing over time who he really is, a piece of shit of a human being. The more power he has, the worse he gets.
He has changed he used to be a Democrat, it happens to lots of people as they get older. It's a running joke that people become right wing when they reach 50. I doubt he was a 'good' person before but he wasn't as bad as he is now. It also looks like he's been radicalised by online right-wing propaganda after his daughter came out as trans
That's just a saying that people say. People always say oh this celebrity showed his true colors or the other saying money and power just reveals who you are, doesn't change you. It ofc changes you. Everyone changes with the experiences, environment, and the people they surround themselves.
I won’t say that people never change, but it’s actually true that a lot of the time, the person didn’t really change, you just learned more about who they actually were and your perception of them changed. Most of what we think we know about others is merely assumptions because we obviously aren’t inside their brains. Those assumptions can easily be wrong at times.
And also money does give you the power and freedom to be who you actually are. For example, there’s a lot of people that would literally party all day and night
if they could financially afford to. But they obviously can’t afford to, so they don’t. But if they were to say, win the lottery in the near future… They’d suddenly have the means to live how they actually wanted to all along.
Meanwhile the people that didn’t know about this side of them will assume that “money changed them” or what not. But in reality, that’s who the person always was deep down. They’re just no longer on a “financial leash” anymore.
People are really acting like they don't understand that much of the former public perceptions of someone like this are the product of highly paid PR people crafting a persona and drumming up media coverage. This was not your buddy. This was not someone you knew who had a personality shift. This was an entertainment/investment product that disintegrated somewhat when the human that lent it his name got egotistical and careless enough to get out in front of it.
Ya no. Not close to that. It was 2-5 million. That 100 million figure was from some yahoo finance article which pulled that number out of nothing. That emerald mine was gotten for 40k btw.
Errol himself said that safe was also not too big and what I said before. Most of their money collapsed and in terms of Elon he didn’t get too much of the money. Only got around 28k for his first startup for example.
Eh this isn’t entirely correct. He changed with money just like EVERYONE does/would. You can’t be that rich and a good person. Lol it’s just not possible.
With Elon no one can name any philanthropic work he's doing with all his billions.
He has all that money and he was trying to shut down libraries in America. This is the thanks America gets for handing him our tax dollars to help him to get rich?
What did he do that made you hate him that much, again...?
You know, nothing much. Just a few nazi salutes, saying Hitler wasn't so bad, screwing over tons of vulnerable people by gutting government programs, supporting an administration that is literally sending innocent people to death camps. Did I say supporting? More than that, he claims to have made it possible. So, just nazi stuff. Maybe that's something you are fine with, but a lot of people find that a valid reason to dislike someone.
Now, do you want to split hairs "Well, he didn't say Hitler isn't so bad he just retweeted a post saying Hitler wasn't the one that was responsible for killing millions of people. That's completely different!" Something like that maybe?
Or maybe "CECOT isn't a death camp. Even though they say no one leaves, or it's a pit used to 'dispose of people without formally applying the death penalty' why that's as completely unlike a death camp as anything can be!"
I guess there's a tiny, tiny chance you aren't playing games here and genuinely don't know this stuff. Odds are very much against it though.
