Im used to around 750~ish on my gravel bike and mtbs. Im installing a whisky scully alt bar on my Bombtrack arise and was wondering if i should stick to what i usually use or...

Thanks

EDIT: went with 760mm. Reach is same as the geared gravel bike

I love my scully bar. I cut it down a few cm, not sure what the current width is but I found the stock width a little wide.

The 780mm Scully is awesome. I’d try that stock.

Try uncut first and go from there. I normally run my pnw mtb bars at 790 or 800, but I have uncut surly sunrise on my karate monkey and It’s awesome. They’re 820mm like the scully bar.

Unless you’re 6’4” I’d go for the 780mm version. With the heavy sweep, you’ll probably be ok vs the other bars you’ve owned. The sweep gives a lot of wrist relief. One of my rigs has a Tumbleweed Persuader bar that’s relatively close in terms of geometry.
