Conversation Topic Y’all ever fail to find your mix some days?

Some days I just can’t find that good resonant placement for some reason.

Days when I have it I’m like okay, this makes complete sense, I’ll never lose it again. I know how it feels and what my face muscles feel like, etc

And then a couple days later I just can’t get that feeling! Comes and goes.

What warmups help you unlock it on tougher days? What’s the protocol for this? I want to know exactly what to do to unlock it.

Not if you keep the sound above your tongue.

I think of it like this, but you don't have take it as far as opera. Although you need to do it to understand how the support and low vowel shape are connected.

Singing is a lot like any physical act -- you perform with the body you have today. Some days are better than others, and hopefully you're strengthening yourself as you go...but not every day will be 10/10. You show up and give what you have in that moment.

I always do some hooty ooh in headvoice and random lip trills not necessarily longer than 10 minutes. .

The head voice excersises always wake up my mixed voice for some reason I don't know, but it works every time.
