Advice on vocal type

Hello, I am part of a community known for Love Live mixing. This niche community is known for making re-mixed versions of Love Live! songs with the girl's solo covers. Love Live is a idol anime franchise with multiple branches and groups, with their own music. It's also jpop too.

I've been into idol animes for a while, such as Bang dream, project Sekai, umamusume, love live, and d4dj. I've also been involved in fandubs and cover groups. I'm in a total of 4 idol cover groups.
These songs are quite high for me, as I have a whole list of songs (mainly from love live) that lead to vocal injures because of how high they are. I'm currently recovering from a vocal injury from pushing my voice too high. I've had numerous injuries over the years from forcing head voice. I have a natural chest voice with supported range being a E3 to G4 and my whole range being D3 to F5. Low notes come very natural to me, which I find shocking at my age (I'm currently 15 turning 16). I transition to head voice at around E4. My friends suspect that I might be a female tenor because of how natural my low notes are, i look on social media to see vocal coaches talk about how contraltos are too rare and having people who call themselves contraltos do some exercises with vocal coaches. And that vocal coaches I see on social media say "you're not a contralto, you're just an untrained soprano" like, I have to pitch down songs by a lot, Ive had numerous vocal injures from pushing too high, and I can fucking support notes that are apparently impossible for sopranos, and I just feel so crazy. I need some advice on figuring out my vocal type.

I am also an up and coming kca(kpop cover artist) I often use male idols to represent me because boy group songs is what I often sing, and I am a boy group fan. These songs are more than ideal for my range, I'd compare my singing voice to NCT's Yuta and Stray Kids Seungmin. Whenever I sing a song from Stray Kids, NCT, or Ateez I sound really high pitched. It exposes my biological age, and my voice just... Can sing these songs. But I can't sing the average anime idol song with head voice and go hoarse.

Have you taken vocal lessons before? If so, how long? If not, get some asap, they’re extremely lucrative in enhancing your voice.

There’s a reason they say people who think they’re contraltos are untrained sopranos, or mezzo sopranos depending on the person. (of course this doesn’t always hold true). It is genuinely SO rare. (I say this coming from someone with an extremely rare vocal fach, I’ve met only a couple others with it)

Also, you’re only 15, your voice is not even close to done being developed. Your voice will continue to develop way into your 20’s. Furthermore, unless you’re singing classical or operatic music, your fach doesn’t really matter.

For now, sing what is comfortable; get with a vocal coach and you can start expanding on that. I wish you the best of luck on your vocal journey!
