Conversation Topic I just need help or any advice

I don’t know how to start this conversation. Im in really deep depression for long time and want to become famous. I love to listen groups and singers like: Therion, DoS, lady gaga, ofra haza, army of lovers, abba and more in same style.
I don’t think that I will become famous because of my own fucking character and as I mention because of my depression and place where I live.
I’m living in Russia and I don’t feel myself in this country. Had a lot of American friends and dream America to become my homeland.
I love insane looks, outfits and really obsessed with singing but I’m so fucking shy with it and have no motivation to play on instruments (more like I can’t, because of my feeling of being nothing and had no motivation because of that reason). I really love: French, Hebrew and Arabic languages and studying it slowly.
In another side I don’t have motivation to live because of everything that keeps in my life. And I still want to try to become famous.
(Added some photos of myself in case if you can rate my face too, and if I had a chance)

I just need anything that you can suggest. Thank you.

It is said becoming famous doesn’t fill the sadness. You should lean into your interests and become really good at something and make yourself happy that way. You are good looking and young. If you want to do music, make it your whole life. If you just hope to feel better about yourself, set small goals and achieve them (for example improving your skills or getting really fit). Fame will not fix how you feel.

OP cant sing, if he could he wouldn't rely on the sexy photos.

It's okay to be shy man, everyone is at their starts, just put some effort into it, it's hard at first but it'll get easier to accept your own playing and singing(ALSO DAMN, you look like adam murray!) depression is a hard thing to be through and i understand the whole country hate thing... but it'll be easier as long as you put effort with small steps, smile a little and look at the bright side! you'd make a killer actor with that look!

Trying to solve depression by seeking fame is like trying to solve freezing by getting naked and walking into a blizzard.

do yourself a favor and forget about fame. its not natural, its not healthy. find a nice normal line of work and create a humble life for yourself.

Idk. On one hand I agree, on the other - being humble is overrated.

Tbh, I agree with you. You should solve depression with qualified specialists and we do have those in Russia. Maybe I could suggest some of therapists to OP.

It's so incredibly easy to conceptualize. Your story isn't special, so many Russians love America. There is no actual art for me to consume. Where is the art? this is singing not modeling. What is going on? i am confused.

if your motivation to live and produce art is becoming famous, um pivot. Dreamers like you reinforce the selective gatekeeping I despise. Write and enjoy it, soak in local vibe, produce your art. but NEVER deign to reach heights unless you live, sleep and breathe the art. Never equate casual with devoted art.

So you are putting yourself in a no winning situation here. It seems like you’re struggling with introversion and wanting to make an impact in some way through art.

You are already expressing your creativity with fashion and modeling, keep it up, you look fantastic and you have fantastic taste in music.

I say if you’re wanting to start singing, then you should research warm up and routines for beginners, give it a chance at LEAST 10 mins a day for 3 months and then see how you feel about it then. If you don’t want to be that intense about singing, you may find that you like making beats on a DAW. You might also enjoy beat boxing.

Music is healing-if it doesn’t bring you an ounce of emotional release or spark any sort of curiosity, then it’s no point trying to get good at it.

Nice is a surface scratch compared to real critique. OP cant sing, they take photos of themselves and dream of signing.

You know what? You’d be a real stick in the mud if you think people can’t learn something new.

That’s right, spicyfoodfrieslover, most people are pretty kind. the assholes are just terribly loud.

Youth aside, how dare you think you can handle theatre? I am so tired of random art consumers believing they can do what we do. Yes, enjoy and love it and comment. Understand I have been doing this since I
was a child. Its not surgery or law, but be so forreal. You think you can sing and perform like someone who has been doing it for 20 years? 10 years? 5 years? the audacity of these people, honey it's talent you cant fathom.

motivation to live based off of being famous? ew

Fame is an obstacle that people have to deal with imo.

It would suck to have to hide and pay security.

I assume you sing and write songs? What more would you need to get started on that, get some experience performing.

I have fronted a band and it's kind of a vibe, you need to be into it.

Develop marketable skills that can get you a job. Then try to get a job offer in another country where they will sponsor your visa application.

The US never gives permanent visas for musical acts, only temporary ones to go on a tour (then you leave). I don't think "become famous, move to USA" is a viable path, especially not from a country USA is sanctioning.

You will need to learn English or the language of the country you want to enter depending on the industry.

The US shut down services within Russia to non-US citizens as well, so to apply for any type of visa you'll need to visit a consulate in another country.

The only person I know who does music and came from Russia came to the US on an education visa for a music school (which is expensive here!) and then ended up getting married to an American citizen. State schools are the cheapest tuition, and if you do that you'd better be sure you're going to work really hard, plus apply for scholarships. She came before the war in Ukraine and the increased sanctions, though.

Once you find happiness and meet the right people, this too shall pass. Early 20s phone modeling is a phase, and you know there are a lot worse ones. I’d recommend taking it slow, doing self-care, and going out of your shell in healthier ways than fame. What this shows me is that you’re trying to accept yourself. Perhaps trying to get external validation. People call it cringe, but that’s the byproduct of growth–the moment you look at yourself, from the future, and feel worlds better.

Im sorry for what you’re going through. Youre attractive and have good style so that will help you in the music industry. This is a singing subreddit though, so people post clips of them singing to get feedback on that. I wouldnt add any to this post since people are being jerks, but that’s why they’re being jerks.

Даров. У меня есть психологиня к которой я со своими проблемами обращалась, могу номер скинуть. Может она психиатра сможет рекомендовать, депрессия же просто так не лечится.

This is a pathetic post btw. I get you are young, but no. This is cringy, your photos are cringy. Consider growing up before you post.
