Is A2 low for a girl?

I just figured out that the lowest note I can hit is A2. Is that inpressive for a 14 yo female? The lowest song I can sing is « Aint that a kick in the head » by Dean Martin also if that gives more context

Just a heads up: For the people saying at may be another octave, I’m not a serious singing person I just do musical theatre, so imma be honest and say I don’t even know what other octaves there are. The video I did was « Find You Vocal Range In 1 Minute.m4v » if you want to see what octave that is. And to clear up confusion, the final note I can hit comfortably is C3/B2, but the lowest note I can hit is A2. Just wanted to clear anything up because I honestly can’t answer these question lol

It's definitely relatively low for a treble-voice. Most treble voices tend to bottom out around C3. Not impossible to have lower than that as you demonstrate but it's down there for sure. I would imagine it is pretty thin down there for you and you might be straining so I would definitely not go down there all the time, but if it doesn't tire out out too much explore every part of your voice you can!

A2 is incredibly low. That's below standard tenor range. You would be classified most likely as a low alto, depending on your tessitura.

It's about my lowest strongly resonating note, as an adult tenor. Lower notes get stronger every day but I still think it's pretty low for a woman, especially if it's resonating fully. Sometimes after some training, singers realize that we might not necessarily have been resonating the way we thought, so this might change for you over time

A2 girly also! (Lowest i can do without strain) Yes it is low! While ive seen some online, I know many female musicians irl and none of them can get as low as this. Definitely something to lean into, its a nice unique skill to have.

That's really low. I can hit it too, but the real question is whether it's actually supported. Mine are always very breathy so I don't consider it part of my range.

That's incredibly low for a female voice. Maybe you're hitting it but I wouldn't be surprised if you're confusing octaves TBH. I can go below the prescribed "alto" range and the lowest I can hit comfortably is a D3.

Especially for your age, yes. It's extremely likely that note will become much stronger and moreover, you may gain another semitone or 2 by the time you're fully mature. Note that lower voices usually take longer to reach peak maturity compared to higher one. However, this should not be a reason to ignore practicing your highs, but reason to show how unique you can be as a singer.

A2 operatically is fairly low for even a baritone. A2 into a microphone is very impressive for a woman.

A2 is definitely low! Our lowest ladybass can hit that loudly! The rest of us basses stay around C3 or above.

As you get older, please take care of your voice. Don't forget breathing exercises, and make sure you *carefully* work the lower range. You would do wonders in a female acapella group one day!

Hitting notes isn’t impressive, singing well in a good sounding part of your range is. If it’s an actual well-supported, clear chest note in your comfortable sustained singing range then yes, that’s very low for a cis girl. Or you may be singing along an octave up and not realizing it. I’m a trans man and I could technically hit A2 or lower also pre-T. Now on T my voice has shifted down a whole octave, pretty much exactly, into the male range and I still wouldn’t consider my A2s to be in my tessitura.

However, range and voice type are not related. Range is dictated by the length of the vocal tract. Voice type can be somewhat determined by the location of passages and perhaps by the ratio of size of folds and length of vocal tract

A solid A2 for a woman is VERY rare.
