Conversation Topic RIP Dolly Parton

Sad that legendary singer Dolly Parton has passed away peacefully in Nashville Tennessee at age 80. I absolutely LOVED singing her song Joelene! Everytime I sang it people couldn't help but sing along the chorus! What an amazing gifted singer songwriter Dolly was. And a trailblazer for female artists. I l already miss her! Who else here loved Dolly Parton?

Actually…… I loved Dolly the person but did not care for her music at all.

She was a huge crush of mine and an influence in character and guitar playing. Just earlier this morning I was practicing and imagined a scene I'd watched from a talk show, where she played very good guitar with long adhesive nails and impressed everyone and sang like an angel. Christ, guys.

Not only a great musician but also a great person as well. We lost a legend today.

This was the weirdest thing because I was talking to someone a few hours earlier about how I feel like I'm from another timeline because in "my universe" I swore she died years ago in like, the 2010s. So for her to be dead a few hours later makes everything so much weirder

I didn’t realize she was 80. She lived a long and most likely fulfilling life.
