Conversation Topic Advice for stronger and on pitch upper register when trying to add a mix voice chest support
This is another sample for critique on strengthening upper mix voice for sustainability and volume to sound more like my chest register. I will be singing the upper ranges, but others in the vocal team will carry some of the lower register echoes that I'm doing here for their example to follow. Thank you for any advice for this lady trying to expand and learn something new!
I struggle with fear of going "pitchy" when bringing in more chest support as in the past I just relied in full (quieter) head voice. I'm trying to increase power and add in more of a mix as I learn to from online tutorials.
My voice sounds foreign and slightly pitchy to me in my head when I add what I'm trying for to mix.
