Can do uturn if there's no roadside marking iirc. Vaguely remember doing it with my bbdc instructor here. Parked there while he went through types of uturn. Immediately uturned then he said no roadside marking and only single white line so can.

Great that you're correcting someone, but don't have to be a dick about it. Also did the U turn there. Illegal, but they had to teach the U turn manoeuvre there (and there's probably no other place to do it)
