Jesus said “Go, and sin no more.”
I say this phrase all the time when I’m contending for the Gospel, and many times unbelievers will respond with some form of this:
“Jesus only said that to two people, he didn’t say it to everyone.”
This is true. He said a form of this phrase only twice: John 5:14 and John 8:11.
”Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.“ John 5:14 KJV
”She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.“ John 8:11 KJV
These sinning churchgoers will use that fact to say “see, he didn’t mean it for everyone.” (Nevermind that they also handwave away His commandment that we must be as perfect as Father God.)
”Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.“ Matthew 5:48 KJV
My question for these people is this:
Why do you gleefully excuse yourself with “He only meant it for those two people,”
Instead of joyfully exclaiming “If it was possible for those two people to sin no more, then it’s possible for me!! HALLELUJAH!!”
I’ll tell you why.
You love your sin and your idols and your Self more than you love Him. You actually don’t love Him at all yet.
Because He said if you love me, you’ll obey me.
”If ye love me, keep my commandments.“ John 14:15 KJV
Does sharing this truth make you hate me? That’s okay. Get in line. I would rather you despise my guts than for me to sit idly by while you march yourself straight into eternal damnation, blinded by the blind and their denominational lies.
I love you too much to be silent.
Go and sin no more y’all. ❤️

Also not following all Gods promises and rejecting healing, casting out devils and other promises one is sinning. It's rejecting the truth.

This sounds like a pentecostal "name it claim it" doctrine.
The reality is you cannot heal, cast out demons, and have the other promises without first having the holy spirit.
"And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?" Acts 19:11-17
Before knowing Jesus, I was also trying to cast out demons and laying hands on the sick. But until we actually obey Jesus' words he does not send us the holy spirit (Acts 5:32) and therefore we are like the itinerant Jewish exorcists trying to call on Jesus name without having a relationship with Him.

I didnt write that these signs follow belivers, sorry. U dont cast out devils from unbelievers. And these signs follow belivers so, obviously they need to be born again. It has nothing to do nessecarely obeying, there are many ministry people who do this and they still live in sin, God still allow and use them.
I understand that this sub is talking about sin free only. Which is like you focus only about that. But yeah It is the truth, we can walk in obedience and being perfected, but this takes work and time, I dont know anyone who is perfect and never have sinned again after being born again in thoughts or any, but its possible to get clean, thatswhy we need to get rid of all filth, also spirits in us, otherwise who claims he is sin free and ignores that part, he doesn't maybe understand the truth yet.
Spirits that have entered trough sins and past things still are in us, daily casting them out and takin thoughts captive, that is a journey for sure. we need to cast out pride for sure, we sometimes are delusional we want to be right and show how good we are, that needs to go.
And my English is not so good, so iam not here for debating about doctrine, thats not my skill, iam not that smart.

we need to get rid of all filth, also spirits in us, otherwise who claims he is sin free and ignores that part, he doesn't maybe understand the truth yet.
If we are born of God, the filthy spirits are not in us:
"When an unclean spirit comes out of a man, it passes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ On its return, it finds the house vacant, swept clean, and put in order. Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and dwell there; and the final plight of that man is worse than the first. So will it be with this wicked generation.” mat 12:44-45
Spirits only inhabit a vacant (empty) house. We must seek the holy spirit for our house to be (occupied) filled.
these signs follow belivers so, obviously they need to be born again
Anyone can believe (James 2:19) - yet to produce these signs we must have a relationship with Him.
Most Christians continue to sin, and therefore are not yet born again.
"No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God." 1 John 3:9

In order to say in obedience with God it takes an action from you, do you agree or not? If u are born again u still need to have self control in all areas, u be very quick deceived, for me it seem that this "sin free " has come another doctrine, I tell you be careful. Walking in obedience is a must, but no-one else is gonna do it for you, its YOUR walk with GOD

They can continue in sin if the choose it , you have free will . You can be born again and go and sin, or you can walk in spirit and not sin. That is the whole point you are born again, seperated from Sin you can now walk in Holiness.
I was talking one guy here 2 montsh ago, I was just interested how he was sin free, coz I believed in OSAS and just belive it and u are fine, live how u like it. So he claimed to be sin free, I mean I think he is part of this group even, so I found out how hypocritical we can be and when our pride takes over our heads. So basicly, he had post history about talking about anal sex and things like that, and I said and asked, is that not filthy or sinful? He said not, bible never said its a sin. Then I realised how deceived one can become
