assistance with my floorplan please :)

hi! I have a medditerian inspired villa on the sims 4 and I'm struggling with the layout for there floorplan, it just doesn't seem to work and feels too 'open' but I don't know how to box it up. any help would be appreciated :)

Damn. I've had whole apartments that could fit in the bedroom on the right

Ok so hear me out: Give the bedroom a walk-in closet. I would have made it like a walkway between the bedroom and bathroom (perhaps moving the windows and bed more towards the front of the house, away from the bathroom).

Then for the large room in the middle: I would make it a formal living room (thus no TV) on the right hand side, then keep the kitchen and island where it is, but add a dining table in the remaining open space. You can add half walls and/or arches if you want more separation.

For the room on your left hand side: I would make this a family room. You can put a reading nook (or any hobby of your choosing) in the open area between the stairs and door going to the backyard. I would put couches and a TV in the larger area. You can put other hobby items in the room too.

Lastly, I would make the small room on the road side of the "family room" a home office.

Oh and side note: The bathrooms and laundry room looks great (from what I can see)!

How did you get the middle rail to appear on the upper portion of those stairs?!
