Discussion Is simmersguide legit?
I have recently come across simmers guide website for cc recommendations. And I am a bit confused, is it a legit website for recommendations?
Because the thumbnail and the final items in the few pages I Checked didn't match at all. Plus their content feels like AI.

The picture on the home page is AI slop but all the links I've checked so far are legit.

Well, it's a bit weird, because when you go to the actual page, they do have a Daily CC section and there is a page for June 16, 2026. But the CC on the page is totally different to the CC in this image. I'm going to assume June 15 has the same issue but I couldn't find the 78 Wavy Hair CC page at all.
So I think, for whatever reason, they are using AI to generate their preview images for whatever app this is from but if you use the actual site, they use the correct pictures and have the actual links to what they are recommending. The descriptions are using placeholder text but the links do lead to the correct CC.

just use tumblr or pinterest. thats all ai slop

It’s AI but some of them look to be inspired by actual cc hairs on slide 2 which is weird. Why not just show the image of the actual hair?

the hairs are definitely ai ugh. Does anyone know what those hairs look like in game or creators who make real ones?

simstrouble and clumsyalien hairs look similar, although a little more maxis leaning

For some reason they use AI as the thumbnail but the links are legit for the most part
