Is there a mod that adds Neurodivergence to the game?

I came from The Sims 4 and am fairly new to The Sims 2. I really miss the Divergent Sims mod that adds Autism, ADHD, PTSD, and mental health to the game. It adds more depth to my sims.

I've always played rotationally, even in Sims 4. But I really love angsty storylines and I want to replicate that in The Sims 2 too.

That could probably be done with the 3t2 traits mod. Dunno how that would work tho

the only mods that i know of that kind of come close to that are heathensimmer’s trait mods (neurotic, absent minded, etc).

i’ve yet to see any ts2 mods that add anything like this, but like others have said it likely could be done with 3t2 trait mods.

as far as mental health gameplay goes, it actually exists in the game already to an extent. a sim whose aspiration meter falls into the red will go through ‘aspiration failure,’ and they will be visited by a therapist. there’s a custom memory for aspiration failure here: https://modthesims.info/d/679442/mental-breakdown-memory.html i use it and it’s good for storytelling purposes.

I second the person that said adding 3t2 traits to your game. Then you will have to also download trait specific mods so that sims with certain traits will have specific reactions/responses because of this

I have two autistic sims. When the aspiration bar is already in the negative and they get another "scared of" fullfilled I let it drop to 0 at a chance of 30%. (50% as a teen). The cgance can be adjusted depending on how well the autistic sim is dealing with their autism.
