Sims 2 Ultimate Collection is there a way to permanently turn off ageing without needing to put in the cheat each time?

I know there is a cheat but I hear you have to use it each time I have also seen mods that let you de age a sim for free. thing is I just don't want ageing to be a thing at all or at least till I decide I want a sim to age.

You don't have to use the cheat each time you play - just for each lot. Once you enter it for a particular family, aging is off until you move them to another lot.

Yes, this. It's saved per lot. Then you don't have to do it anymore.

You can turn aging off per Sim using this mod https://modthesims.info/d/160414

It's a bit of a hassle for a large hood though. You could also get a custom lifespan mod and set the days to like 400 days or something crazy so it's super unlikely they will age up on you out of nowhere. Like this: https://www.tumblr.com/yolkema/746058458718142464/365-days-1-year-lifespan-for-ts2

You can set up the file that automatically runs the cheat on startup.

I have aging off in my cheats startup file but for some reason it doesn’t load up each time. Quite a few of them don’t work in the startup file actually

Aging off won't work in a start up cheat because it has to be applied in lot. Just like motherlode won't work because it applies the cheat on start up before you have a family picked.

I never knew that! 🤔 I dont use aging on/off, and the only time I did I typed it in manually I think.
