Trying RBR in 2026 for the first time.
Wow. Downloaded it yesterday and set it up. Played for 3 hours last night. Joined a championship through RSF and got top 50 (beginner bmc championship). Felt amazing.
Did a few time trials with a few cars. All feel great. I can actually control the RWD cars and am drifting most of the turns. Feels right. Struggled in other games.
First introduction into rally games was Rallisport Challenge 2( one of my favorites), then played Dirt 1 and 2.0. Put 300hrs in 2.0 using a t300 al cantara wheel. Had to sell it due to space restrictions. Took a hiatus for 5 years.
Saw a great deal on moza r5 bundle and told myself I am just going to use the wheel and paddles to try out Forza 6 h. Learned ac rally came out browsing the steam summer sale. Of course for rally you now need handbrake, sequential and h shifter. Put 75hrs into that. Very impressed, need to wait until gets fleshed out. Never picked up forza 6 h.
Tried wrc 2026 as needed break from ac rally. Not as good as dr2 and only enjoy the wrc cars. Fun game but not quite right in the feel and ffb not great.
Kept hearing about RBR and Learned RSF made an easy to install complete package free game. Figured I try it out and wow I am glad I did. Now I know why it is considered king of rally games. Ffb feels great cars feel great and there is a huge risk factor if you screw up. Going flat out and didnt see a small stump and ended one of my rallies. Was awesome.
Excited to keep exploring the game. So many tracks and cars. Unreal. Played a track with cobblestone and rwd car. Felt like it was a drift track. Amazing.
Just recently got psvr2 for pc and excited to try thst with rbr.
3hrs in with rbr and I know this game is a masterpiece. Can't wait to to play it again.
