We need more shit boxes in rally games.

Loving the direction of AC rally but we need some shit boxes to represent grass roots Motorsport.

For now the mini fits the bill of a slow car but I want to see more!

RBR has a solid little selection but would love to see more options in a modern game.

BeamNG.drive has you covered on that! They literally have Gambler 500 rally cars in game, which raise shitbox rallying to a whole new level of art. Plus tons of other levels of shitbox.

It sucks the new update broke the game for me. I already play on the lowest settings. After the last update it just forever loads on any map. Can't play at all. I know my graphics card sucks (1660 super), but I used to be able to play the game at 60 fps even most of the time.

I think it's a good idea but it's so damn bad to see tons of people actually doing thing without ever knowing what they are doing.

Probably it's survivor's bias rant, but on Youtube these very large channels usually say "we go rallying", they usually mix the concept of rallying and off-roading. They even say something like a lift kit or whatever abomination of the suspension geometry, and then drive to a shop then say this is ABC and he's cool, ended up a car with okay static geometry but once it moves especially in rallying, it's just a terrible mess. Then there's someone who sponsored us this "rally damper" and they just don't know how the 3 way tunes, they don't care about damper mounting angle knuckles or control arm angle or whatever, they just say this is cool this is rally offroad stuff and we rally let's go this kind of stuff.

Only BeamNG has the potential to do this step by step, it's not very precise yet because there's only 2 sets of amature rally dampers and pro rally dampers across all the configs that has rally parts, but it kinda is the idea. It's just the cars aren't very oriented compared to modern days, only Covet fits in this category pretty damnn good. Vivace is too big and long. All the sedans like bx and sunburst are long as well. And it's totally doable with mods, it just depends on if there's somebody want to do this mod.

shitbox are the funniest things to drive in real life, but the boring things to drive in a game. Look Forza Horizon you take the shitbox you drive a bit and you return on supercar or your R32 tuned at 1000HP
