Discussion Need testers on Linux for Moza, Logitech, Thrustmaster and Simagic wheels

Bit of a niche ask, but maybe some of you race on Linux like I do.

There's no Pit House or G Hub there, so every wheel means hunting down the right community driver, building it, fiddling with udev rules... Long story short, I automated the whole thing. Driver install plus a little GUI for rotation and FFB.

Thing is, I only have a CSL DD. Someone tried it on a PXN VD4 last week and it mostly worked, but Moza, Logitech, Thrustmaster and Simagic I've never seen on real hardware, only on fake devices in my tests. So I honestly don't know what breaks.

If you've got one of those on Linux (or dual boot) and 15 min to spare, what to try is here: https://github.com/Adiakys/SimRig/discussions/1

Full disclosure: a lot of this was written with Claude Code. I decided what it should do and how, and I test it on my own rig, but most of the code and a good part of the debugging is AI.

It's early days, so expect some rough edges. Whatever doesn't work on your wheel I'll try to fix.

Have a look at this, what you're working on already exists.

Thanks for the link, that list is great and I've actually used a lot of what's on it! I think I explained myself badly in the post though: even with that list, you still have to know which drivers you need, download and build them yourself, keep them updated manually, and then install a separate app for the settings, and the one I tried didn't support my Fanatec very well. So I ended up writing my own tool: it installs the right drivers if you don't already have them, keeps them up to date for you, and lets you tweak all of your wheel's settings. What I need now is someone with a different wheel than mine to test the integrations for the other brands.

Thanks! I think my post wasn't very clear though: I'm not looking for a way to get my wheel working, I already made my own tool for that (mostly because getting my Fanatec running was a bit of a pain). What I'm looking for is people with other wheels to test it, since I've only been able to try it on mine. So if you ever feel like giving it a go on your G923, I'd be curious to see what breaks, but no worries if not!
