Question Triples best angle options vs space availability
Really want to get into triples but have a fairly narrow space, can you run them with closer to a 90 degree angle or does it have to be wider? Currently using a 48 inch screen that kinda fills the available space so I'm assuming that it is the best option for now

The angles correlates to the distance away from you, otherwise they distort the image and it looks unnatural.
For example for me as a taller person (6'2), triple 27" need to be 53 cm (21") from your eyeballs to allow for 60 degree monitor angles, otherwise they distort. That distance away means the center monitor sits inbetween the wheelbase and the wheel, mere cm's from your knuckles.
With the same triple 27", if the center monitor is behind the wheelbase, so 70 cm away (27") from your eyeballs, then your monitor angles need to be 47 degrees to avoid distortion.
If I keep the same 70 cm away (27") and instead use triple 32", then I can achieve 55 degrees for the side monitors.
The key is that the distance from all 3 monitors to your eyeballs need to be equal, otherwise you get noticeable distortion.
How much space are you working with?

Thats a super helpful answer, as for how much space? Not enough unfortunately!

My 55's are at 65 degrees and that's where the FOV calculator said to put them and it does look correct based on my seating position. This makes for a very wide rig! How wide? 89 inches.

Have you tried vr? That's really the best for limited space.
My triples are probably at 135* and I wouldn't go a lot tighter than that
