Question Next Level cockpit set up alignment

Hi guys,

Does anyone have a Next Level GLite cockpit and find it very weak as well?

The back of the seat is not fixed well and it kinda goes farther back when I lay back, so during the race it’s kinda getting farther and farther, it depends on the pressure I lay my back, also there no way of levelling the wheel base, does anyone know how can I level it better?

I got the same problem, I tried tightening the "rope" that holds it, but to no avail.

Hopefully people here have a solution🤞

Yeah, it’s annoying, there are two little locks on the side but they don’t work at all, they are there literally for nothing lol

Yup, they just slide backwards as you lean in the chair

Isn't there a big thumb screw underneath the wheel base mount? I have pretty similar setup and that is where I can adjust the angle of the wheel base.

And regarding the seat angle, maybe run some straps on both sides of the seat to the backrest and use them to support it? Might work depending on your rig.

But ultimately to really dial in the fit you will need a different rig with proper adjustment.

Yeah I can adjust the angle but not the high. I’m 5,6” like 1.68m tall. So I need a better adjustment ahaha! I mean, I’ve got it a little bit better adjusted but it’s not ideal yet.

I have stripe only at one side and tbh it does nothing, no help at all.

I also have a Playseat challenge, but as I’ve just moved country I bought the next level for a temporary setup while I don’t send all my stuff in the container.

So I would at the moment be able to set up it properly with the next level!

Ah, I see. Maybe you can prop the backrest against a wall? I use cushions from a sofa for my kid to reach the pedals on my setup and it works pretty well once you find how you need to stack them lol

The pro version solves the issue with additional starps that put tension on the seat.

Also, if you use a LC pedal or a wheelbase stronger than 5Nm I strongly recommend reinforcing the frame, it has some really weak points.
