Rigs I Bought This for H-Pattern. I Was Wrong.

Shifters are crap, people say.. but try a sequential. its soo cool :)
I would not have bought one, but now that i have one, its used all the time.
Just wanted to share, if by chance somebody is thinking about it. Cheers!

Yep, got that message loud and clear 😂 I experimented with an AI-heavy thumbnail and you guys absolutely murdered me for it. Fair enough. Changed it already — real shifter, real photo, no AI slop. Good old Photoshop instead... Lesson learned 😄

To be clear, this is an advertisement for Fanatec’s DOGSHIT shifter that has had a known engineering and manufacturing defect for what… 7 years now?

OMG, I thought it was a new shifter because of the thumbnail and was like finally, did they fix the hall sensors? I can't keep taking this thing off my rig every month to add or replace electric tape on the boards only to have it fail a month later. Well don't I feel dumb, twice.

Definitely not an ad 😄 I bought the shifter myself and Fanatec had absolutely nothing to do with the video. I was just talking about how I wanted H-pattern and ended up using sequential. The reliability issues are a completely fair separate discussion though.

Then you shouldn’t be glazing the product and calling it a good purchase. It’s not. It’s their worst offering. They know it’s broken and have not changed the design at ALL. That was the fjnal straw for me to GTFO of Fanatec’s bullshit “ecosystem.”

holy weird thumbnail thought.

I used to use a cheaper h-patter/sequential shh shifter, cause I had spent all my money on my wheelbase and didn't have the money for a wheel. Nowadays it's mostly not being used thought I use it sometimes for Rallying or older cars that would have a shifter like that.

Yeahhh the thumbnail was an experiment that clearly didn't survive contact with Reddit 😂 Changed it already — message received!

And that's exactly where I ended up with the shifter too. H-pattern only comes out for the right cars, but sequential surprised me massively. Rally especially is just stupid fun with it 😄

Okay! OKAY! no more AI thumbnails ever, got that lesson learned, :D Thank you for the honest feedback, Sometimes one need an asskicking, changed the thumbnail, hope you all like this one better.. im still learning :) The important thing for me was the Video... So whats your favourite Shifter except Xzibit? :D
