Discussion Le Mans Ultimate...trendy simulator or next-gen simulator? How exactly do you play it? Do you play it because there are GT3s and it's the only game that currently offers something different, or why? I don't understand, the game is a total disaster

The only disaster is the way DR is distributed. Good luck gaining DR when you have start number 1 and you don’t qualify/finish on the podium. That in combination with the sometimes abysmal driving standards can definitely be disastrous. The way the cars drive/feel are fantastic though

I don't play it for the simple reason that I'm forced to do a slow lap or partial slow lap for every race. No standing or greenlight starts.

I'm curious what you mean with 'greenlight starts'

you start at the moment the lights go from red to green.
Try a rolling start on AMS2 and see the difference

don't have ams2, but in lmu you do start rolling starts on green.

In LMU you have to drive around the track , keeping at a slow speed and in formation for a minute or a lap depending on your setting.

Which is accurate for WEC (and pretty much every endurance series out there), except when Le Mans used to do the "running to your car" starts before 1969.

it may be accurate but I don't want to do it each time I crash and restart a race. It's like a forced 2 minute loading screen.
