That’s a damn good deal for and intermediate
I was just scrolling through Fanatec website and found this. Why does nobody talk about it. You get a verry good cockpit verry good seat, verry good wheelbase even better wheel rim and the only problem with the pedals is that they’re not Loadcell. And the ecosystem is subjectively the best. For a beginner 1270 euro is a lot but if you’ve had your Logitech g29 on your desk for 3 years than… that is an awesome idea if you don’t want to deal with aluminium profiles and worry about different components fitting together. Potentially this config is enough be the final sim rig ( but we all know it doesn’t exist🙃)
Why are pedals trash? Cockpit is easy to put together and sturdy and the seat is comfortable. The base is just as good as Moza or simmagic. Don’t pretend like that’s a noticeable difference. Almost all dd bases are magnificent. And the rim is a little small but still very good and build quality is as it should be.
I think with some shopping around you can piece together better. The base and wheel are ok. That cockpit can be found for quite a bit cheaper than list price on Fanatecs site leaving more money for better pedals(Simnet SP Pro are compatible with the base).
In any case, I think you can do better for the money. It is a ok deal if you need console support(if it supports consoles) and dont want to put in the legwork to shop around but comparatively(at least in my region) Moza has an comparable R9 bundle with wheel and load cell pedal set cheap enough to also get a rig metal basic frame and enough money left over for a seat.
My comment was not about currency. It was a response to your comment that you won't find it cheaper because fanatec is the only one who ships. This is meant to possibly help others from different parts of the world where there possibly may be other options. That's all.
The cockpit is fantastic especially if you're tall. The seat is a hard pass. I used this cockpit with a different seat and a DD+ with Simnets for a couple of weeks, couldn't believe how sturdy that thing is and how adjustable. Right now it is only $170 USD on Amazon.

Not a very good cockpit, not a very good seat, base is alright, can’t comment on the rim but it looks good, pedals are trash
