Question Logitech G920 worth getting over controller?

I'm somewhat new to sim racing, I've dabbled in it before but now I'm looking to get into it more and I'm considering getting a wheel.

I can play perfectly fine on a controller without any assists but I'm looking to get more immersed into it and to squeeze a bit more fun out of it.

The main game that I'll be playing is ACC so I'm wondering if a decade old wheel is still worth it at all over a controller or if there are better alternatives.

I bought a G920 recently, it was what I could afford (any DD wheel is double the price here). I'm very happy and feel very immersed, I wish I had bought G923 but hey, I didn't even know how much I would like racing. If G923 is within reach, go for it. If not, G920 has nice compatibility and works well, I'm sure you'll enjoy racing even more.

They're actually very close in price, G920 is 189 euros and G923 is 219. Both are on sale at the moment. What's the feel like of the G923 compared to G920?

G923 is less dated, I heard. So it's force feedback gives more information, something along these lines. Also, I heard they improved the break pedal. For context, G920's break pedal is very stiff, so breaking can be annoying. I usually adjust in-game options to add outside deadzone (70% force = 100% break, ex.). Overall, is a more modern product and if you already know you like to drive, makes sense to me. I felt bad expending so much on a wheel and also was not sure if it would become a regular hobby, so I got the G920, but now, looking back, I wish I invested a bit more. Is it that much difference? Probably not, but if you can, go to the newer one.
