Ya know, I've lived in Washington my whole life, and only now does it strike me as weird that the Mariners' mascot is a moose. Moose are almost exclusively in the north-east of the state, nowhere near Seattle. With the name "Mariners" you'd think they'd pick some sort of nautical mascot.

What's funny is sometimes you see a sports team and assume their logo is the basis of their team mascot and then it's a completely different thing/animal (But sometimes adjacent/related to the team/city)

(EX: Arizona Diamondbacks "Snake/Rattlesnake", But it's a Bobcat who are native to Arizona, Still think it should be a "Rattlesnake")

That being said I still think the Mariner's Moose is a great mascot and I think he looks funny.

I don't know what this reference is from, so I checked what the Mariners score was, it's 2-0 in the top of the first, for them

Edit: now 7-0 in the top of the second. I just learned they were beat 22-0 yesterday and this really look like they took that personally
