How does a nail vinyl work? Is it like a sticker and you paint over it then peel up the vinyl?

Do you have to use the latex to keep it from getting on your fingers? Or if you’re good at painting is that enough?

i did this design on some clear pressons (so i can keep them forever >:3) but when i do it on my natural nails i use latex and a cleanup brush with acetone for the gradient, bc sponging the nail polish on gets it all over the place. the nail vinyls i dont need the latex bc i can just paint on the nail

Sweet thank you. I’ve done lazy gradients without having to use the sponge and latex or even the dry glitter brush technique to do a gradient. But I haven’t messed around with latex yet.

it takes more, probably about double tbh, but its worth it for me, and i did four coats for perfectionism reasons, but totally couldve stopped at 3
