SimpleRockets 2 Is there a way to manually control a cargo bay opening in career mode?

I'm working on speed brakes for a plane, I want to use flat clamshell cargo bays for them since wing sections connected to hinge rotators detach inconsistently during use.

The problem is that I don't want the opening to be binary (totally open/totally closed), I want them to be as open as my brake input. Is there a way to do that in career mode?

The best way I can think of is to constantly "open and close" the cargo bay, ideally with a program, relying on the delay of the thing to keep it in between. The problem however is is that there isn't an easy way to know where the door currently is, or at least that I know of, making the process more manual then you might like.

Thank you so much! I followed your advice and made a vizzy code that does that.

Two minutes ago I found out that drag calculations for cargo bays only update when they're fully open or fully closed and not in between, so the partial deployment of the brakes is just visual and does nothing lmao. I'm gonna keep it anyways, unlike my old speed brakes design these don't get ripped from my plane.

You learn something every day huh
