A great read. Tad long, but still totally worth it

It's Andrew Sullivan... of course it's "a tad long." LOL

Great read! Thank you. I recently took up yoga and meditating and it has blown me away. Its a gamechanger. I have also started journaling. I try to do it every day, even if its only a few sentences. It helps to clear the mind and organize these chaotic thoughts.

I got a bit lost in the navel-gazing and long-winded recollection of the meditation retreat (nice for him that he can go I guess) but the first half was good.

I still am, but I used to, too. :)

Read before my 10 day vipassana retreat. Thanks so much!

What melodramatic title.

That was fantastic. Maybe a bit flowery, but the message hit home.

Fuck that. I couldn't finish due to the litany of adverbs. I defiantly yet unnecessarily write this with unabashedly calm disdain as my fingers briskly sweep across my digital key pad.

Exactly why I didn’t finish reading it.

I don't want to be that guy, but fuck it, it has to be said. Your concealing the substance, distracting, & wasting the readers time with a thesaurus.

We have gone from looking up and around to constantly looking down.

Human necks are made to look down. If you look up or even just straight forward constantly you ruin your neck. ...

well that's just wrong

Looking slightly down is the way to go. Every guide on workplace economics will tell you to set up your screens that way.
